[Culturetalk] Outreach to increase use of under-represented language online

Dear All,

This was posted on the PICISOC list by Emani from Niue who is featured as a
practitioner. It would be great if those from Fiji particularly the
Ministry of Taukei Affairs got on board. It has been proven amongst the
Basque speaking generation that having language represented online helps to
keep the interests and enthusiasm and love for the language of the younger
Basque speaking community. At some point, I would like to finish mapping
what who is doing in the region. I was also very impressed with the
Samoanisation of Technology presentation where I saw how the Samoans were
doing their bits. For Pacific Islanders who have migrated to different
parts of the earth, these sorts of initiatives can help maintain/preserve
