[PARBICA] Passing Away of Mr Qereqeretabua - Director National Archives of Fiji.

Dear Salanieta and the team at the National Archives of Fiji,

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Misi, it comes as a great shock, I was talking with Misi recently about the PARBICA bureau, he confirmed his strong commitment to working on the bureau and with PARBICA. His passing is a great loss to the Pacific Recordkeeping Community.

My thoughts are with Misi's family and friends.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great sadness that I relay to you the sad news of the passing of our Director National Archives of Fiji,
Mr. Misiwaini Qereqeretabua.

He passed on yesterday, 04th December, 2011.

While Mrs Salesia Ikaniwai, a senior staff from National Archives of Fiji is on maternity leave, I am sorry to be the one to relay the sad news.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his dear family at this time of grief.
