Dear All,

I have just return to work this morning after taking my annual leave and no words can describe the feeling of shock and saddness to learn of the untimely death of our Bureau member Misiwaini.

It was a pleasure meeting him during the PARBICA 14 and working with him for a short time.

Misiwaini will be a loss not only for to the Archives of Fiji but to the PARBICA family.

We would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the staff of the Archives of Fiji and to the family and friends of MIsiwaini.

  Ladies and Gentlemen,

   

  It is with great sadness that I relay to you the sad news of the passing of our Director National Archives of Fiji, 

  Mr. Misiwaini Qereqeretabua.

   

  He passed on yesterday, 04th December, 2011.

   

  While Mrs Salesia Ikaniwai, a senior staff from National Archives of Fiji is on maternity leave, I am sorry to be the one to relay the sad news.

   

  Our thoughts and prayers are with his dear family at this time of grief.
